I’m thrilled that you’re here! My name is Karthic Ravi, and I’m a family photographer based in Calgary, AB.
I feel truly blessed to do the work I love, capturing precious moments for families, newborns, and maternity sessions in the heart of Calgary, AB. This place has inspired my creative journey, and it’s been an honor to document the beauty of families here.
From a young age, building meaningful relationships and connecting with others has always been close to my heart. My goal as your photographer is not just to take your pictures, but to become a friend, a storyteller, and someone who sees the beauty in life’s fleeting moments. I truly believe photography is about being present, quietly witnessing the love, joy, and connection that unfold in front of me—and I hope you feel that in the images we create together.
My style is all about authenticity. I love capturing a mix of candid and sometimes posed shots, with a timeless, nostalgic touch. The photos I take are meant to remind you of the cherished images you might have of your parents or grandparents—a snapshot of real moments that will always have meaning.
And yes, you’ll likely hear me making animal sounds or silly noises to get a smile from the little ones! I always try to get that perfect shot where everyone’s looking at the camera (it’s possible, I promise!), but the photos I love most are the in-between moments—the ones where you’re truly yourself, laughing, playing, and just being together.
At the end of the day, when you look back at your photos, I want you to see you—your real, authentic selves. No trends or forced poses, just the love, the joy, and the beautiful everyday moments that make life so special.
